Position Summary: This role is responsible for supporting the successful and effective execution of security/safety functions including the operation and maintenance of CCTV, card access, burglar and fire alarm systems at regional L&W facility locations. This position supports the Global Security Projects and Systems (GSPS) team to ensure compliance with the company safety and security programs within the region. This role participates in the execution of required safety/security audits, takes immediate action to remediate all reported safety and security concerns, and helps manage global project work under the guidance of the Global EHSS Director. Essential Job Functions: Supports the Global Security Projects and Systems Manager for global security systems, investigations and processes. Supports the installation and maintenance of regional security systems including CCTV, access control, burglar and fire alarm systems to ensure effective operational readiness at the direction of the GSPS Manager. Acts to support security compliance to all regulatory agencies. Engages with external contractors, vendors and suppliers as it pertains to maintenance and/or construction work being performed at or around the company facilities. Prepares written reports as needed or directed and reviews team reports to ensure full investigations are completed effectively. Supports safety/security audits, investigations and functions to support global risk and threat assessments. Engages and reports any criminal activity observed around the company facilities to the appropriate law enforcement agency. Helps train security officers as needed in corporate safety and security procedures and policies. Monitors and helps ensure all life safety systems and related equipment are fully functional. Works in collaboration with the risk team to conduct background checks on new employees, contractors and/or vendors, as needed. Ensures new badges are provided to new onboarding employees within the region. Collaborates with all global security teams and functions for the readiness of the program. Compiles data and key performance indicators to help drive the security management system functions. Participates in the LNW duty of care program to support global travelers' safety and security. Supports the GSPS Manager in benchmarking efforts to drive continual improvements to the global security program. Supports the GSPS Manager in tracking efforts for global deliveries that may not reach intended destination. All other work as assigned by management. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. 5+ years of experience with global or regional security systems and programs. Some college or specialized technical training including experience with security regulations. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge and expertise with CCTV operation (Avigilon), access control system (ProWatch) and Tyco burglar and fire systems. Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) knowledge and skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment. Possess a customer service personality and ability to train subordinates. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team concept. Strong "Problem Solving" skills. Strong project management skills to ensure effective project implementation. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Possess organizational skills and be dependable. Ability to work independently and be a self-starter. Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 15kgs.
