About the Team Our Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains. With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items such as groceries, electrical goods and other items for both import and export markets. The Operations teams work within several complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery outcomes for its customers, stakeholders and the community. About the Opportunity Supervise and manage workgroups conducting rerailling and associated activities to achieve the successful delivery of the AMPR rerailling Program. You will work alongside several key stakeholders within ARTC to ensure the successful onsite delivery of key rerailling packages across the broader Interstate Network as defined to you by the Construction Manager. The role combines office-based work at Mittagong, and site-based activities for the rerailing projects which will require work regionally across the North-South Corridor (predominantly in NSW) Corridor, with infrequent travel required to complete re-railing in the broader ARTC Corridors. Contribute to the detailed scoping and costing of human, plant and equipment requirements for work packages to support the Possession Plans and manage work risks. Assist with site works including tender site visits, rail deliveries, organising preliminary construction activities What do we want from you? Experience in working in the maintenance and/ or construction of rail infrastructure. Experience in leading a team in a highly demanding environment to deliver the successful completion works, preferably associated with rerailling works. Experience in the administration and management and delivery of maintenance and/ or capital works activities. Demonstrable ability to work in an organised and well-ordered manner, including working unsupervised. Knowledge of or an awareness of Work, Health and Safety principles and relevant rail safety legislation. Required to hold a current Rail Infrastructure Worker (RIW) competency. Motor Vehicle Drivers Licence – Class C. What will you get from us?
