You will also engage with local government to support achievement of Transport's contract requirements.You will also be responsible for the following:Monitoring the region’s approach to implementation of management plans in project delivery to ensure compliance with SEQ systems and policies.Ensuring that quality system documents and records demonstrate compliance with and facilitate ongoing continuous improvement in SEQ Systems.Coordinating management system training including developing training plans and strategies to ensure users understand systems requirements and comply with the Resource Management systems.This is a permanent, full-time position located at our Newcastle depot. Please note this role will require travel throughout the North region on occasion. The salary for this position is a USS Grade 8 ($115,534 - $123,977) per annum plus superannuation.About youYou are a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships. You will have strong problem-solving skills, are a self-starter and willing to use your initiative, matched by your ability to influence and negotiate with a range of multidisciplinary audiences.Your demonstrated experience will include:Experience in managing Safety, Quality and Environmental systems for bridge or road maintenance and construction projects.Leading the implementation, maintenance and improvement of quality management systems in a diverse and dynamic environment.Development, implementation, and monitoring of quality management systems.Knowledge and understanding of quality, WHS and environmental management systems for contracts.Scheduling, conducting, reporting, and monitoring quality systems audits.You must also hold a current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver license and white card.This is an in-person, on-site role.What are you waiting for…?
