The Role
An opportunity has become available for two Principal Analysts (Planning) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
1. Lead the department's strategic and planning analysis, including data and technical analysis, and automation, in consultation with the Director of Strategy and Health Service Planning
2. Identify, assess, and develop internal and external data sets. Analyze this information to uncover new strategic trends and patterns to inform future strategy and planning for the Gold Coast.
3. Coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities
4. Utilise excellent interpersonal skills to network, negotiate and influence in a professional manner, working successfully with senior managers, stakeholders and customers
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
5. A tertiary degree in a relevant field or formal training in analysis and strategy would be well regarded
6. Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
7. Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
16. Permanent full time and temporary full time (one permanent position and one temporary position, 12 months with the possibility of extension)
17. Base salary ranging from $132 072 - $141 738 per annum

The department does this through delivering high quality strategic analytical work using a range of techniques and methods. The department is at the forefront of future thinking in the health service for the Gold Coast.
