Job Title: Channel Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Channel Manager to drive expansion across the retail market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a channel strategy to introduce and grow our brand within major retailers.
* Leverage existing relationships with retail buyers to secure listings, negotiate favourable terms, and maximise product visibility.
* Act as the primary point of contact for key retail partners, managing accounts and ensuring ongoing sales performance.
* Collaborate with marketing, product and supply chain teams to align distribution and promotional efforts with brand goals.
* Analyse sales data and market trends to optimise channel performance and ensure competitive market positioning.
Requirements
* Experience in channel management, sales, or business development within the consumer electronics or FMCG industries.
* Retail Expertise: Prior experience as a Senior Buyer, Category Manager, or Merchandise Manager at a major retailer is highly desirable.
* Relationships: Strong, existing relationships with retailers across Australia.
* Sales Skills: Proven track record in driving sales growth through effective channel strategies and retail partnerships.
* Negotiation & Influence: Expertise in negotiating with senior retail decision-makers, with the ability to secure favourable outcomes.
* Analytical: Strong ability to analyse sales data and market trends to make data-driven decisions.
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
