About the roleReporting to the Senior Emergency Services Officer (SESO), the Emergency Services Officer (ESO) contributes to the success of Liberty Primary Steel (LPS) through the delivery of a fit for purpose Emergency Response (Fire, Rescue, Medical Response and Asset Protection) capability in line with operational requirements and risk environment at the Whyalla Steelworks site.The ESO is responsible for assisting with the site emergency response requirements, including responding to site emergencies, undertaking inspections, facilitating resources and implementing processes to ensure compliance and capability for LPS operations. The role also includes supporting the development and delivery of regular emergency response exercises, mentoring of Trainee Emergency Services Officers (TESO), and supporting the development of an Auxiliary Response Group (ARG).Roster: 14/14 rotating day and night shift rosterLocation: Whyalla.
