As one of our Communications Business Partner's, you'll provide strategic and operational advice, and craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
With a dispersed workforce of over 500 people and 60 business units, this is a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure across multiple sectors.
This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement such as flexi-time.Base Salary Range: $74,379 to $87,503 pa based on 35 hours / week + 11.5% superannuation + $2,312 retention allowance.You will be working from: PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace.Some of the key responsibilities within this role are listed below:
Provide specialist advice to stakeholders on communication challenges and opportunities, supporting employee engagement initiatives and organisational goals.Design and implement impactful communications plans and campaigns that enhance audience understanding.Produce high-quality written and edited content for various channels, including digital platforms and traditional media, ensuring accuracy, clarity and accessibility.Assist with daily content updates on Council's social media channels, provide oversight to staff with posting permissions, and contribute to the development of engaging digital strategies.Develop and maintain editorial schedules for all Council communications channels, and provide expert guidance and support to staff across business units.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication processes.We're all about putting the right people, in the right role!
Here's what we're looking for: A degree qualification in communications, marketing, media or a related field with demonstrable experience.Proven ability to develop and implement successful communication strategies and campaigns.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.Demonstrated understanding of media management and contemporary media landscape.Extensive knowledge of digital communication channels and social media best practices.Ability to be self-directed, working both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-skilled, collaborative team.Demonstrated skills in negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution.Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Competence using Adobe Creative Suite.This is life at PSC!
