We are currently seeking a Station Hand to support our livestock operations (cattle, sheep and goats) near Hillston, NSW.
Situated near the town of Hillston, NSW, "Tocabil" and "Yilgah" comprise 12,000ha of grazing and farming land across two properties.
The role will initially require three days per week, with the potential to increase over time.
The ideal candidate will need to have their own transport, live locally or have access to their own accommodation.
Accommodation is not available onsite.

Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Livestock Overseer, you will be responsible for:
Sheep, goat and cattle management, including conducting mustering, yard work and animal husbandry tasks, ensuring it is done precisely and safelyGeneral farm duties including feeding, checking water, fencing & repairs, operating machinery and general farm maintenanceProperty development and repair programs related to farm infrastructure, including welding and basic metal fabricationAssist management to achieve production objectivesContribute to a positive and productive working environment by being respectful, precise, diligent, honest, and ethical Requirements What we are looking for:
You must have prior experience working with livestock handling (essential)You need to be proficient in operating machinery (essential)You should have hands-on experience welding and basic metal fabrication skills (essential)While not essential, previous experience constructing, repairing and maintaining rural fences will be highly regardedYou will have knowledge of livestock water system maintenance (preferred)You must be able to communicate effectively, as well as maintain accurate records when requiredYou will hold a valid manual driver's licence and be able to ride a 2-wheel motorbikeYou will be able to work independently and as part of a teamYou will be flexible, reliable, and available to work hours which may vary to meet operational demands (on occasions this will include Saturday and Sunday work)You will have a positive, can-do attitude and be physically fit Benefits Competitive hourly rate based on experience, skills and qualifications.
