Service Delivery Manager - Network and Security We're never just satisfied with how things are – because we know how things could be.And it's our expert Technology team who forge ahead every day to make those 'what ifs' a reality.Welcome to a place where you can chase real progress and drive real change.And that includes your own career.Being a part of Technology at Suncorp Group means being switched on, endlessly curious and always adaptable.In return, you'll be supported to bring your own ideas to the table and challenge conventions – with the aim of making life a little brighter, simpler and better for our customers and each other.About the role: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join a market leading organisation with a truly supportive and collaborative culture.You will orchestrate and manage the Networks and Security Delivery (RUN) team to deliver respective services across Suncorp's complex landscape with the goal to provide excellent customer service and assist in realising the maximum business value for Suncorp.The Service Delivery Manager will work closely with their Service Specialists, peers and ITO partners to plan for, deliver outcomes and manage BAU incident/problem/request/change/project for the relevant services.This is a key role where your combined skills in communication, team management and strong technical know-how will see you succeed.In return you will work with some of the leading technology on the market and be supported in your professional development.What you'll do: Manage a local team and ITO Partners to deliver an exceptional service with a focus on Experience, Stability and Performance.Work with an array of key stakeholders to embed Service Delivery practices into their day-to-day BAU operations helping the team to ensure optimal support of Suncorp systems.Demonstrate valuable leadership on a variety of initiatives, working with other teams to promote successful outcomes for Suncorp customers.Proactively identify blockers in customers realising value from their applications and infrastructure and assist in developing relevant solutions.Encourage the team to create self-service options and automation systems to improve customer experience and reduce response times.Proactively track and manage operational costs incurred across the group and manage Financial Year operational budget planning for the Networks and Security platforms.Manage, support and oversee relevant contract performance, renewal and negotiations where new services and agreements are required.What you'll bring: Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a similar role within a medium to large complex organisation.Technical and business knowledge of managing a Network & Security Delivery Domain.Superb communication skills with the ability to develop trust and credibility with senior stakeholders including strong facilitation skills.Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to work in a rapidly changing environment, managing multiple concurrent activities and to make sense of and operate in ambiguity.Strong communication skills (oral and written) – ability to take the lead to influence and drive a strategic view, while explaining information, coherently and confidently at all levels.Experience in managing quality assurance for delivery across teams and playing a key role in earning customer trust and references.Knowledge of Service Management – Problem, Change, Release, Deployment and Incident Management.Ability to effectively lead and inspire a team, strong leadership attributes essential;
