Marketing Lead - ( 250001C1 )DescriptionAbout the roleAn exciting opportunity has become available for a Marketing Lead in Australia within the Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations (MCPR) team. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for our Environment & Geosciences and Energy & Resources business lines.Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Director for ANZ and working closely with the Regional Business Leaders of the BOU, you will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic marketing expertise to these key Australian business lines. Additionally, this position involves contributing to the country's strategic direction and developing the annual integrated marketing and business development plan to help achieve Australia's financial and market leadership goals.This one role can be based in either Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Perth office.Essential functions:Develop and implement a comprehensive yearly marketing strategy for each designated Business Line to achieve key business goals and priorities across Australia.Partner with Australian leadership and the Client Development team during the planning cycle to create Key Account Management (KAM) plans for your assigned accounts.Assist in major strategic pursuits for your business lines by collaborating with business leaders and the marketing team, and by overseeing pre-positioning efforts with team resources and Pursuit Team Managers.Contribute to the development of the content marketing strategy by leading selected regional multi-sector initiatives and specific Business Line programs.Create a schedule for industry conferences, trade shows, and client events for your business lines in Australia to raise awareness of Stantec's sector services and highlight our distinguished thought leaders.Support the internal communication needs of your Business Line leadership teams and assist with AU/Regional cultural and communication initiatives.Collaborate with PR and local communications teams to develop campaigns that showcase our people, projects, and creativity, thereby enhancing the Stantec brand.Develop and manage annual marketing and promotion budgets for your Business Lines.To be successful in this role, you'll need:Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, marketing, communications, public relations, or an equivalent level of experience.Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in a senior marketing role in a medium to large-sized organisation.Demonstrated proficiency with web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Working knowledge in the use of desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat.Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, supervisors, peers, and clients, Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing and business development best practices.About StantecThe Stantec community unites approximately 31,000 employees working in over 450 locations across six continents.
