The Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors is a private RTO providing Higher Education specialising in the delivery of external education programs in counselling, community services, financial counselling, and various business courses. About the role Reporting to the Training Manager, your key responsibilities would include: Reviewing all content to be delivered, and assessment tasks to be explained to students, and preparing any additional content that may be included within the delivery. Exercising discretion over how to present the learning and assessment materials to students while ensuring all content is covered within the overarching structure provided as per the relevant Facilitator Instruction Guide. Conducting a seminar of 1 or 2 days in duration (as per the relevant Facilitator Instruction Guide) that meets learning and assessment requirements with students, ensuring that all learning outcomes and regulatory requirements are met. Private Assessment Reviewing all content to be delivered, and assessment tasks to be explained to students, and preparing any additional content that may be included within the delivery. Exercising discretion over how to present the learning and assessment materials to students while ensuring all content is covered within the overarching structure provided as per the relevant Facilitator Instruction Guide. Conducting a private assessment of 2 hours (for 1 student) or 3 hours (for 2 students) that meets learning and assessment requirements, ensuring that all learning outcomes and regulatory requirements are met. Online Workshop Reviewing all content to be delivered, and assessment tasks to be explained to students, and preparing any additional content that may be included within the delivery. Conducting an online workshop of 4 hours in duration that meets learning and assessment requirements with students, ensuring that all learning outcomes and regulatory requirements are met. Completing all paperwork completion requirements identified by AIPC. Attending scheduled Marker/Facilitator meetings – 1 hour per month. About You Minimum education level of a Diploma of Counselling/Community Services or a related field; degree level qualifications in Counselling/Community Services or a related field are preferable. Relevant vocational qualifications and experience in the industry. Certification in training and assessment (e.g., TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and implement effective training programs. Why work with us?
