Your new role
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, supporting, and managing cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Azure environments. Your responsibilities will include:
* Provide expert knowledge in Azure, Exchange, Azure Active Directory, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
* Design, support, and manage Azure environments, including Azure AD integrations with Office 365 and on-prem servers.
* Manage and create load balancers, virtual machines, and ensure cloud security.
* Systems Administration: Proficiently handle systems administration and operational management processes.
* Understand core networking principles, including DNS, Radius, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
* Apply ACSC Essential Eight knowledge for system hardening and information security.
* Maintain infrastructure architectures across medium to large enterprises.
* Manage high workloads with excellent attention to detail and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Communicate confidently, build rapport, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in Azure environments, specifically in design, support, and management.
* Expertise in managing Azure AD integrations with Office 365 and on-prem servers.
* Experience with networks, firewalls, and cloud security.
* Proficiency in systems administration and operational management processes.
* Familiarity with modern Microsoft management tools, including PowerShell, Microsoft Intune, and Auto Pilot.
* Good understanding of core networking principles.
* Experience in database administration and maintenance.
* Knowledge of ACSC Essential Eight for system hardening and information security.
* Ability to manage Azure tenancies and Office 365 instances.
* Experience in maintaining infrastructure architectures across medium to large enterprises.
* Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
