Sacred Heart Community is here to create a home for life, providing security and safety for our residents and is unique in its service as clients extend across the lifespan to include younger residents than standard Aged Care. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, effective, and supportive care.
* Providing personal care to residents in accordance with trauma-informed care and Aged Care best practices.
* Administrating medication for residents as required.
* Completing records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
* Working closely with other Personal Care Assistants, Nurses, and Lifestyle staff members.
* Providing care that is individual, respecting privacy, dignity, and choice of the resident, whilst enhancing quality of life.
We're looking for someone with
* A qualification as a Personal Care Assistant with a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care.
* A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Medication competency preferred, but training can also be provided once employed.
* A compassionate, caring, and trauma-informed approach to care.
* A genuine interest in and respect towards the unique personality, history, and value of our residents.
