The Hospital is a 73 bed acute medical and surgical hospital located in Bowral NSW, providing care for the local community of Southern Highlands and beyond to the regional and rural areas.Joining our small, vibrant team as a Pharmacist in Charge, you will lead our dispensary pharmacy team and work closely with doctors/nurse unit managers to provide centralised patient care. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist looking to take the next step in their career. You will be fully supported by management to thrive within this key leadership role.Oversee and drive a range of specialist pharmacy services across both the ward and clinical dispensary, catering to the needs of our valued patients.Be involved in the day to day services of our cancer care day oncology unitMentor and develop the skills of our team, guiding them through onboarding and induction processes for new team members.Work closely with the hospital team to educate staff and counsel patients on medication usage.What You’ll BringBachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent with current Pharmacist Registration with AHPRAStrong leadership and relationship management skills, with an ability to lead a team in accordance with legislative and medication safety guidelines.High level of computer literacy including systems knowledge of dispensing softwareExperience in a hospital pharmacy setting is highly regardedExperience in oncology is preferred but not essential.It is a mandatory requirement that you provide:Proof of immunisation against infectious diseasesA national police check conducted within the last 12 monthsWhy you’ll love working for us:Here at Ramsay Pharmacy, we believe in better care.
