We take pride in respecting individual needs, beliefs, and cultures, ensuring dignity and quality of life for all those we support.Position Overview:We are recruiting three dedicated support workers to provide essential daily living support to a 65-year-old participant with TBI and orthopaedic injuries in Muswellbrook. Care will be delivered at the participant’s home and in the local community.Key Responsibilities:Assist with household tasks, including stripping and making beds, general tidying, laundry, and bulk meal preparation.Provide support with personal organisation and daily routines.Accompany the participant for grocery shopping in the town centre.Drive the participant in their vehicle for medical appointments in Newcastle as required.Ensure adherence to care plans, including high-intensity care tasks such as medication prompting, skin checks, and bowel/catheter management.Utilise a hoist for mobility support where necessary.Maintain accurate shift notes and follow behaviour support strategies.Mondays & Wednesdays: 10am – 4pm (6-hour shifts)Additional support required for driving to Newcastle for medical appointments as needed.We are also in the process of mobilising a team for a new 24/7 care program.
