Base Pay Range:
A$140,000.00 / yr - A$150,000.00 / yr
Head of PR (Maternity Leave Cover) opportunity to work across the APAC region. My client (travel / lifestyle) is looking for a Head of PR for a 7-month maternity leave cover in North Sydney. Ideally, they'd like someone to start with a handover opportunity, so immediate availability would be great. There is a 3 / 4-day in-office requirement, with other flexibility offered and the opportunity to work for a global premium brand within a collaborative and supportive team.

Your New Role:
My client is seeking an experienced and strategic PR professional to join the team for this maternity leave cover. This pivotal role oversees consumer PR for the brand across Asia and Australia and has one direct report in Singapore. This is a strategic, hands-on, and independent role that focuses on forward planning for the 2025 season. While they don't expect to be any fires to put out during the length of the contract (out of season), you'll be instrumental in preparing for the upcoming season. Day-to-day responsibilities might include:
1. Drive strategic PR planning and initiatives for the lifestyle brand across Asia and Australia.
2. Collaborate with agencies in each location to manage both proactive and reactive media opportunities.
3. Oversee the 2025 consumer PR plan, ensuring alignment with brand goals and regional nuances.
4. Organize and manage consumer and media events, including international journalist trips and coverage.
5. Foster partnerships and evaluate media opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
6. Work closely with the senior director of global PR.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
1. A consumer PR professional with proven experience in either lifestyle / travel / hospitality / F&B or similar industries.
2. Knowledge of APAC media landscapes and experience of working across the region is highly desirable.
3. Excellent strategic planning and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently.
4. A storyteller at heart, capable of crafting and sharing compelling consumer lifestyle narratives.
5. Adaptable and flexible, thriving in a relaxed but trusted work environment.
