DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Field Service Heavy Diesel Technician to join our high performing field serviceteam in Townsville, QLD.
*In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:*
1. Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on-call roster
2. First responder to breakdown events
3. Fleet maintenance
4. Capturing engine data
5. Fault diagnostics
6. Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor
7. Inspect and replace components as required
8. Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
9. Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment W
10. Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
RESPONSIBILITIES
*To be successful in this role you will need the following:*
11. Field service experience preferred coupled with heavy duty engine experience
12. Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Diesel preferred but not necessary)
13. Strong engine diagnostic experience
14. The ability to work autonomously/remotely for extended periods
15. A genuine commitment to workplace safety
16. A valid drivers license Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
