The HR Advisor will support the retail organisation by providing professional and comprehensive HR guidance and support to retail management and employees. The role involves handling employee relations, training, performance management, and ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies. The HR Advisor will act as a trusted partner to the retail management team to help drive a positive work culture and ensure HR practices contribute to achieving business objectives.

What you’ll do:
* Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
* Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions.
* Support store managers in the performance appraisal process, setting goals, and providing feedback.
* Identify training and development needs and recommend or facilitate training sessions.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
* Provide training and support to managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
* Assist in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and support initiatives to promote employee well-being.
What we are looking for:
* Tertiary qualifications in HR/IR or a related field (desirable)
* 3+ years of experience in an HR advisor role in a retail environment.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
