Job Description
Key accountabilities include:
* Providing expert advice and contributing to the IT strategic direction
* Developing and executing long-term infrastructure strategies
* Managing Service Desk activities and managing hardware and software assets
* Managing the organisations server and network infrastructure
* Providing high-quality end user experience through effective SOE
* Ensuring the continued availability of IT services
* Assuming full accountability for IT security posture
* Leading the design and execution of IT operational policies and frameworks
* Establishing strategic vendor partnerships
You will have x2 direct reports in this role.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in a leadership role managing IT operations, including IT Support/Infrastructure teams
* Demonstrated ability to undertake all activities within the infrastructure lifecycle
* Experience implementing contemporary IT operational strategies, concepts and practices
* Significant experience in Microsoft technologies: AD/AAD/Entra, Group Policy, Exchange, Office 365 and Azure
* Experience building a strong service culture, developing individuals and leading distributed teams
* Understanding of cyber security principles and best practices
