We are currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join the team at our Arncliffe Head Office and contribute to our continued success.
In this full-time role, you will play a crucial role in coordinating various warehouse & mailroom activities. This will include receiving and distributing Head Office supplies and packages, as well as the dispatch of store consumables and fixtures.
What you’ll do
* Collecting or delivering packages to & from depots, suppliers or customers as required.
* Unpacking, checking and receipt of deliveries
* Processes out-bound mail and packages & assisting internal staff with mail services as required.
* Distribution of stock, consumables and supplies equipment etc. to stores
* Coordination of courier collections and completion of manifests
* Occasional heavy lifting of boxes, up to 20kg
* Maintaining inventory records
* Securing the dock by performing opening or closing duties as scheduled
* Processing of customer returns

What will make you successful
* Previous warehouse or mailroom experience is highly desirable
* A current and valid driver’s license
* Well organised, with proven attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously using own initiative.
* Basic skills in MS Office Suite
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the internal team and external stakeholders
