Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and innovative Science and Technology lessons.
2. Confidently teach Stage 6 Physics and Stage 4-5 Science.
3. Teach Stage 4 Technology Mandatory.
4. Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
5. Develop and implement programs aligned with the new Science Syllabus (Stage 4-5).
6. Foster an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and student outcomes.
Key Selection Criteria:
1. A strong personal Christian faith or a willingness to uphold the College ethos and values.
2. Innovative and student-centred teaching practices.
3. High-level competency and proficiency in classroom teaching.
4. A sound understanding of how students learn and effective teaching strategies.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, critical analysis, and problem-solving skills.
6. The ability to work collaboratively within a team and prioritise tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
1. Accreditation with NESA and appropriate teaching qualifications.
2. Demonstrated expertise in teaching the Stage 6 Physics syllabus.
3. Understanding of the new Science Syllabus (Stage 4-5) and experience in program development.
4. Valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
