The Opportunity
As our Operations Manager for our site at Molendinar (4214), you will be responsible for resources, visible leadership and commitment to ensure efficient, cost-effective and profitable operations that are safe, legally, environmentally and ethically responsible. You will manage all operations staff and ensure asset management, maintenance, servicing and monitoring of all contract assets on the site associated with our key contract with the City of Gold Coast (CoGC). You will also proactively manage our WRC and Green Organics operations in accordance with CoGC and Veolia policy and procedures, ensuring a high level of customer service is provided at all times and contractual customer obligations are met.

What you'll be responsible for
* Ensure financial targets are met and manage costs within budget
* Lead ongoing innovation and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving customer service, operational efficiency, increasing landfill diversion and recovery rates
* Review and determine appropriate resources to ensure efficient operations
* Maintain safety and regulatory compliance for the site
What you'll need to be successful
* Demonstrated track record (5 yrs +) within operations management, ideally within the environmental, industrial or manufacturing sectors
* Working knowledge of waste and recycling operations or materials processing operations (preferred)
* Experience in delivering business improvement programs to achieve multi-faceted KPIs and drive operational efficiencies
* Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to manage cost to budgets and analyse / interpret financial information.
