The Team:
The Team Leader/Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) – Community Teams is a fundamental component of the Older Persons Mental Health Service’s Reform. We are looking for people who want to work with our management, frontline staff (nursing, allied health, medical, and other important roles) and key stakeholders in our North/North West Community Teams.
The Role:
* Lead and manage the coordination of patient care within the OPMHS North/North West Community Teams in accordance with best practice principles.
* Provide leadership in contemporary nursing/allied health practice and promote an environment conducive to innovation and change.
* Manage the financial, physical, and human resources of the OPMHS North/North West Community Teams to achieve agreed service outcomes within the allocated budget.
You will need:
* Ensure the standards of client care within the teams are in accordance with clinical standards and evidence-based practice.
* Manage physical, financial, and human resources effectively, ensuring team objectives are met.
* Encourage and support staff to develop further knowledge and skills to enhance the individual and the teams.
Details of appointment:
Permanent full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Salary: $122,365 to $129,060 per annum, with an 11.5% superannuation contribution on top of this amount.

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
* Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
* Current Working with Children Registration.
* Current Driver’s Licence.
Desirable criteria:
* Completion or progression towards a post-graduate qualification relevant to the position.
