**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in the NSW region. As a BSP, you will work with NDIS participants in a community-based setting, traveling around Ballina, Lismore, Casino, and Mullumbimby areas.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a BSP, with a strong understanding of Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practices. You will be responsible for assisting NDIS participants and their families/carers in identifying needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
Key responsibilities include:
* Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
* Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework
* Ensuring individual plans reflect NDIS participants' goals, passions, and strengths
* Building the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those who support participants
* Acting as an advocate and role model for best practice

**Qualifications**
To be considered suitable, you must have:
* Minimum CORE suitability and experience working in the NDIS
* Completed a degree-level qualification as an allied health professional
* Report writing experience and excellent time management skills
* Genuine passion for working in the disability sector
