Position: Technical Officer - Engineering Contract Type: Temporary role with potential for extension - Min 5 months Location: Dandenong Salary: $85, 000 - $91, 500 package About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Officer to provide essential technical support and guidance for our Engineering and Fabrication programs. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the effective allocation of resources and materials across multiple campuses, supporting both standard and specialized courses. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support and recommendations to facilitate smooth program operations. Oversee allocation and maintenance of Engineering and Fabrication materials and resources. Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and institute procedures. Collaborate with teaching staff to support student learning and safe workshop access. Liaise with internal teams to maintain consistency across campuses. About You: The ideal candidate will have: Relevant vocational qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical or Fabrication trade). Experience in hands-on technical activities using tools and equipment. Strong knowledge of OH&S practices in an educational setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Demonstrated experience in stock control and basic financial processes. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with a customer service focus.
