The team at Penske Australia have an opening for a trade-qualified Field Service Mechanic to join their experienced and dedicated workshop team at our Darwin branch.In this role you will be carrying out diverse field service work including diagnosis, servicing, minor & major repairs on MTU product, together with Detroit and Allison and getting hands-on within a dynamic team environment.Responsibilities:Compile high quality field service and job reports to facilitate clear provision of information to customers and/or warranty departmentReport to Branch on details regarding Equipment operating hours and/or any product concernsAbility to work cooperatively on sites with both Customer and Equipment suppliers on a daily basis and liaise with maintenance planners to ensure scheduled equipment maintenance is carried outProvide technical assistance as requiredActively contribute towards an ongoing improvement culture in the Safety, Quality and Productivity of the Field Service teamUphold the Penske values at all times with a commitment to safe working practiceAbout You:Trade Qualification (Diesel Mechanic) or similar.Sound technical knowledge and experience in Western Star, MAN Trucks & Bus, Dennis Eagle, Detroit and Allison Transmission product lines as well as diverse products that Penske supports is desirable.Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions.Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Values & Behaviours.With over 1,300 employees across Australia and New Zealand, Penske is an iconic brand in both the business and racing worlds and a Fortune 500 company with a global presence.
