Noosa Flexible School is a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice tradition.
It is one of 22 Flexible Schools throughout Australia who offer a full-time and multi-year secondary education program for young people who have disengaged from mainstream schooling.

About the Role
We are seeking a Groundsperson to assist in carrying out grounds tasks efficiently and effectively under the direction of the Head of Campus.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
* Maintaining gardens, including grass, trees, shrubs, plants, and flowers;
* Daily spot cleaning of walkways and high-use areas;
* Mowing, whipper-snipping, and weeding all grass areas;
* Pruning and trimming trees and shrubs;
* Cleaning and maintaining bins and performing dump runs;
* Maintaining equipment, including lawn mowers, whipper snippers, and chainsaws.
This position is casual and commences as soon as negotiated.
About You
To be suitable for this role, you should have:
* A current Queensland C-Class Driver Licence;
* An aptitude for gardening and plant care, and the ability to carry out minor maintenance and repairs/cleaning of school outdoor facilities;
* An understanding of PPE compliance issues and the use of appropriate PPE at all times;
* Ability to work successfully as part of a team and independently.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
Fully qualified horticulturists with knowledge and/or experience in plant maintenance, landscaping, tree planting, and pruning are highly regarded.
