About the Role: The Operations Supervisor is crucial for the success of JasonL, ensuring the seamless planning and execution of installation services. This role coordinates between internal teams, customers, and field technicians to guarantee efficient and timely installations with high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Team Management - Supervise, train, and mentor dispatch team members, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, considering individual strengths and development opportunities. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and teamwork. Conduct regular performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to team members, including hosting and attending toolbox talks with initiatives and constructive feedback.Installation Coordination - Coordinate with the projects team and customer service to schedule installation appointments and confirm availability. Liaise with internal teams, including sales, projects, and field technicians, to ensure all necessary resources are aligned for successful installations.Dispatch Coordination - Plan and prioritize orders to meet customer demand and deadlines. Monitor real-time operations to address any issues, deviations, or emergencies, and adjust schedules as needed to maintain service levels.Reporting - Monitor performance metrics for both teams, such as on-time delivery, KPIs, and customer feedback. Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.Quality Control - Inspect all items for damage, defects, or discrepancies during the picking process and report and correct any issues. Vehicle and tools maintenance, checklist and damage reporting.Housekeeping and Safety – Maintain a clean and organized work area ensuring they are free from hazards and following all established safety protocols. Participate in safety meetings, training sessions and promote a culture of safety awareness.Packaging, Documentation and Order Fulfilment - Supervise packaging finished orders, compile and organize shipment details, including product information, quantities, destinations, and customer details. Ensure items are prepared for shipment and timely delivery (DIFOT).Pick and Pack – Ensure the accuracy of pick and pack items according to order specifications using pick lists or RF devices enabling product quantities and quality.Communication – Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction. Act as the conduit between customer service, project and the install team relaying all relevant information back to key stakeholders.Continuous Improvement – Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement within the warehouse and installation team providing suggestions to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.Other Duties – The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the operational needs of the business.Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of motivating and engaging team members.Proficient in WMS/TMS software and intermediate computer skills.Physically able to lift and carry moderately heavy objects.Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality task completion.Solid understanding of safety protocols for forklift operation, material handling, and manufacturing.Quick decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Warehouse and logistics cert 4 or equivalent experience.Team management and leadership experience.Knowledge around planning and timekeeping.Experience in a warehouse environment, with broad knowledge of warehousing operations including dispatch / pick and pack.Must-Have: Forklift Licence (LF Minimum + LO Preferred)Australian working rightsYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
