About Department
CGHS treats approximately 12,000 acute inpatients and 17,000 Emergency Department patients per year. It provides general surgical, medical, obstetrics and gynaecology, urology, ophthalmology, dentistry, endoscopy, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy and paediatric services with visiting sub-specialty services including urology, vascular, ENT, paediatric surgery, upper GI surgery and IVF. There is a Critical Care Unit that provides ventilation and haemofiltration. Surgical services are supported by both specialist and general practitioner anaesthetists.
About the Role
The Emergency Medicine Consultant will provide senior Medical Support, in conjunction with other medical officers, in Emergency Medicine at CGH. This will occur within the principles of care coordination, where patients/clients/residents have access to a highly coordinated health care and community support system.
Full time and Part time positions considered.
