With a focus on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency, you'll work collaboratively to create a productive and sustainable environment that supports our vital work across the Northern Territory.Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations and maintenance of facilities across the Northern Territory, ensuring they meet organisational needs.Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for buildings, infrastructure, and fleet management.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, safety standards, and environmental regulations.Coordinate with external contractors for repairs, cleaning, and other services across various sites.Manage property maintenance, leasing, and upkeep across the Northern Territory.Maintain a register of physical assets, managing the asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal.Ensure high WHS standards through timely incident responses, audits, and risk assessments.Develop and manage budgets for facilities, vehicle maintenance, property upkeep, and asset acquisition.Selection Criteria: Essential: Minimum of five years facilities and asset management, ideally with not-for-profit organisations, with specific experience managing multiple sites.Proven track record of managing vehicle fleets, property portfolios, and maintenance programs across a large geographic area.Strong knowledge of Australian regulations relating to WHS, buildings, vehicle maintenance, and environmental standards.Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different locations.Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Aboriginal people.Strong budget management skills, with experience in cost optimisation and financial planning.Proficient in Microsoft Office Software, facilities management software, asset tracking systems, and fleet management tools.Willingness and ability to travel within the NT.Desirable: Experience working within remote and regional locations.Relevant certifications in WHS or related disciplines.Requirements Ability to obtain a "Working with Children Clearance" (Ochre Card) upon commencement.Satisfactory criminal history check.NT driver's licence.How to Apply Applicants for this position must submit a cover letter and resume addressing the essential criteria.Enquiries can be sent to ******.Applications will be assessed as they are received.
