Code Red, a division of Chubb Fire & Security, is seeking a Lead Technician to provide product support and technical services within the Fire Alarm Monitoring Services industry in Western Australia.

CodeRed, a business of Chubb Fire & Security monitors Direct Brigade Alarms across the state on behalf of the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES). Fire Alarm Monitoring is critical to help protect people, property, and assets, and Code Red is an integral part of providing this service.
Operating 24/7, 365 days a year, Code Red installs, maintains, and monitors Fire Indicator panels via an Alarm Signaling Equipment (ASE) device with direct connections to the WA Fire Brigade.
About the Role
Whilst the role will be primarily autonomous you will be part of the Code Red WA team, ensuring installations are completed within set timeframes and in accordance with our installation process. This is a customer centric role so you will have excellent customer service skills built on care, empathy, and respect.
You will be required to have great attention to detail, and a strong background in a fire/technical role. You need to be proactive with a can-do attitude and work well in a team environment or independently. Key Responsibilities:
* Attend installs, replacements, upgrades or disconnections of ASE units as scheduled
* Analyzing, maintaining and repairing ASE Units
* Controlling stock and inventory control of ASE units, spares, and parts
* Managing and controlling technical training documentation
* Providing training for subcontractors
* Being on call for emergency and after-hours site visits
* Supporting IT infrastructure and hardware related to Code Red WA Network
* Working unsupervised for long periods of time.
* Demonstrating a willingness to think for independently and knowing when to seek assistance.
* Willing to travel anywhere within WA and potentially multiple nights away.
* Complying with company policies & procedures
About You
* Experience working as an Electrical Technician/Fire Alarm Technician in the Fire Protection industry is beneficial.
* Understanding of IT Infrastructure
* Electrical license.
* Unrestricted work rights.
* Current Driver’s license.
* Cabling license (open/unrestricted).
* Intermediate computer skills.
* Adept at handling tools.
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
* Knowledge of applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment is beneficial.
* Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation is ideal but not mandatory.
* Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.
