We are values driven and work as One with respect for Ailan Kastom.About the role: You will be responsible for planning and preparing nutritionally balanced meals for children attending Council's Child Care Centre in accordance with the Nutrition Australia Guidelines and Queensland Health Get Up and Grow Guidelines.About you: Minimum one (1) year practical experience as a cook.Working with children check (Blue Card) for paid employment.Food Handling Certificate highly desirable.Level 2 Food Safety supervisor highly desirable.Certificate III in Children's Services optional but not essential.Current competency in an approved First Aid qualification, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management training or willingness to undertake.Genuine passion for providing high quality care and nutrition for children.Applying: Candidates will need to download the Position Description and submit a cover letter and an updated resume with your location and addressing how your knowledge, skills, experience, qualifications and personal attributes are most relevant to the position by Friday, 15 November 2024.
