Practice Details:
This accredited general practice provides quality health services for the local community, located in Horsham in Western Victoria. They are seeking a General Practitioner to offer consistent treatment to patients in the area. Nestled on the banks of the peaceful Wimmera River, Horsham is a lively regional city, which is home to a vibrant array of arts and cultural events, sporting venues, and activities.
About the role:
A typical day of service includes standard consultations, Pre-Employment Medicals, Chronic Disease Management, and minor procedures. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, consultations, treatment plans, and examinations for patients of all ages.
* Provide On-Call services, worked on rotation with existing doctors.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with best practice standards and regulatory requirements.

Essential Competencies:
* AHPRA General or Specialist Registration.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting community health and wellbeing.
* Experience or interest in rural healthcare.
* Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency.
