We’re looking for a Lifestyle Coordinator to:
Coordinate the provision of recreational and social programs that enhance the well-being of our residents
Lead the orientation of new team members, supported by the Lifestyle Assistant
Assist each resident in accordance with the lifestyle plan document
Ensure all programs meet both residents’ needs and accreditation standards
Engage residents and encouraging them to be part of their local community
Assist with meaningful and enriching activities that provide choice to each person
To join our excellent team, we’re looking for someone with:
Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure
Demonstrated understanding of the cognitive, social and spiritual needs of the residents and their families
Empathy and an ability to build strong connections with residents and their loved ones
Honesty, helpfulness and dependability – making you a great asset to the team
Creativity and experience in coordinating and providing recreational and social programs, ideally in an aged care environment
The annual flu immunisation and a committment to receiving the immunisation each year
To work in Residential Aged Care you will need to have an NDIS Worker Screening Check. The NDIS Check lasts for 5 years and can be used with any organisation / employer. You can find out more information about it here. You can still apply for a job if you do not have the Check already, but you will need to receive it before you can start working.
