As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will support the Nurse Unit Manager and lead our passionate team. Your responsibilities will include: Deliver person-centred clinical nursing/midwifery care, monitor patient care plans, and oversee team provision of care. Assist in management, coordinate interdisciplinary services, and resolve local care delivery issues. Engage in clinical teaching and foster a culture of continuous learning for students and less experienced staff. Promote continuity of care, provide shift leadership, and act as a resource for the team. To thrive in this role, you will need: Registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current practising certificate. A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience or current classification as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife. Competence in haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and home patient training according to practice standards. Experience supervising student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses. Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workload under minimal supervision. Creativity, innovation, and flexibility in addressing healthcare challenges.
