The Role The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks that help drive our sales initiatives, including content creation, social media management, event coordination, and administrative support. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a small team, with real, measurable sales outcomes as a result of their efforts.This is an opportunity to create memorable campaigns and take leadership in our company's social media accounts. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation and Social Media: Develop, schedule and execute content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok to boost brand visibility.Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to comments and messages.Ensure all social media content maintains a consistent brand voice, reflecting the company's values and personality across all platforms.Analyse metrics to refine strategies such as ROI and report on performance.Stay updated on trends and best practices to maintain cutting-edge social presence. Stationary: Design and produce branding stationery (business cards, letterheads, etc.) in line with brand guidelines.Collaborate with teams to meet design needs and prepare print-ready files.Manage print vendor relationships and ensure quality and timely production.Stay updated on design trends and update designs as needed. Photography & Videography: Plan and execute shoots to produce compelling visual content for various platforms.Edit and enhance photos and videos to meet project specifications and brand guidelines.Coordinate with other team members to align visual content with marketing strategies.Manage and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.Stay current with industry trends and technologies to improve visual content quality. Administrative Support: Maintain and organise marketing files, assets, and promotional materials.Assist with scheduling meetings and taking minutes.Support the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including order forms, price list updates and more. Required Skills: Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel) and Google Applications (Google Sheets, Google Docs).An understanding of Slack application or related application. Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.Organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Experience with Squarespace.Skillset in Videography & Photography Preferred Skills: Knowledge and understanding in the wine industryBasic knowledge of Email Marketing platforms like Mailchimp.Prior experience in a Marketing role.
