Working with local council within the Roads Construction and Maintenance team Your new company Based at one of the council's depots working with the Roads Construction and Maintenance crew, this local government organisation has been responsible for the conservation and management of natural areas, bushland, civil and recreational parks for over 50 years as one of the largest employers within its region. Your new role In your new role you will be working in a high-performing construction and maintenance team, working a 9-day fortnight. To succeed in this role, you will have experience labouring in the construction or civil industry. Building and repairs on gully boxes, footpaths, kerb and channel Maintenance and road build repairs Preparing pavements Working around civil machinery and local traffic Manuel handling and general site clean up Liaising with the site foreman and providing support to your team What you'll need to succeed Construction White Card Experience in a similar position with concreting and civil skills Q fever vaccination - or willing to obtain Desirable Bitumen or Asphalt Experience MR truck licence Working in Proximity to Traffic What you'll get in return In return for your hard work, you will have the opportunity to work with one of the largest employers in the region, with on the job coaching and training.
