Job DescriptionThe role: Visual Content Creator.Permanent Full-Time.Works throughout the year including non-term time.Flexibility on daily span of hours.Occasional after hours / weekend work required (capturing content at special events).Reports to the Head of Marketing, Communications, and Engagement.Capturing and producing premium photographic and video content for various publications, channels, and audiences.Ensuring all content produced meets the specific marcom objective for each project, in line with branding guidelines and broader strategic vision.Pre and post production work, including editing material and inputting music, dialogue, graphics, and effects.Trimming footage segments and piecing together film sequences.Creating rough and final cuts.Supporting the wider Marcom department with other administrative and overflow tasks, including posting to social media platforms.Desired Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate: Demonstrated professional experience in content creation (photography AND film) in a formal context (e.g. corporate, not-for-profit).Strong working knowledge of the full suite of relevant Adobe products (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, After Effects, Photoshop).Demonstrated effective oversight and use of photo catalogues / storage systems.A keen eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.An ability to apply both a creative and commercial lens, simultaneously.Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.Focused on continuous improvement, with emphasis on efficiency, simplicity, and logic.Able to respond to direction but also work independently.Personable with great sense of humour.A confident and communicative team player who makes a positive contribution to the life and culture of Kambala.We offer:Competitive, above-agreement rates of pay.A beautiful harbourside location, easily accessible to Edgecliff station via staff shuttle bus.Onsite car parking or unmetered local street parking.Daily hot & cold lunch menu at a nominal fee.An array of internal and external professional development opportunities.Access to pool, gym, and other school facilities.A diverse and inclusive work environment where everyone is free to be their genuine and authentic self.If you are passionate about working for a purpose-driven organisation and excited at the prospect of continuing your career journey at one of Australia's preeminent independent girls' schools, we look forward to receiving your application directly via this platform.
