Production Precast Labourer

2. Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm
Pay:
3. $37 per hour

Duties:
As a Precast labourer Level 2, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
5. Operate a forklift (must possess a valid forklift license and have relevant precast/concrete experience).
6. Set up molds or forms according to specifications for pouring concrete.
7. Mix concrete ingredients manually or using machinery such as concrete mixers.
8. Pour concrete into molds or forms, ensuring even spreading and filling of all spaces.
9. Smooth and level concrete surfaces using tools like trowels, screeds, and floats.
10. Place and secure reinforcement materials such as rebar or wire mesh within concrete forms.
11. Operate heavy machinery, including cranes, forklifts, or hoists to move and position precast concrete elements.
12. Remove molds or forms from cured concrete pieces carefully to avoid damage.
13. Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
14. Inspect finished precast elements for defects or imperfections and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
15. Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting precast concrete elements to designated locations.
16. Patch and repair damaged or defective precast concrete elements.
Qualifications:
17. Previous experience in precast or concrete work.
18. Valid forklift license.
19. Ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
20. Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
21. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
22. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
