The Australia and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry (ANZDATA) are seeking a Data Entry Administrative Assistant to join their team at SAHMRI. In this position you will provide efficient administrative support to the ANZDATA Registry. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely data entry, as well as collating information from contributing units within Australia and New Zealand. You will collaborate closely with the broader registry team, including administrative and data entry personnel, and engage with healthcare professionals from various agencies across Australia and New Zealand.
About the role
Key responsibilities include:
1. Undertaking accurate data entry and assisting with analyses of information, maintaining security and confidentiality of all patient data.
2. Assist with the distribution of annual survey sheets to intrastate/interstate and overseas hospitals when required.
3. Undertaking the pre-printing and distribution of various data forms to intrastate, interstate, and overseas hospitals
4. Distribution of the Annual Reports for Australian and Worldwide distribution and Hospital specific reports to all participating hospitals.
5. Receiving and distributing or redirecting correspondence, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Ensuring incoming phone calls are always handled in a professional manner and redirecting to the appropriate person when not able to deal with the inquiry personally.
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following key attributes:
7. Completion of administration/management certificate/diploma or equivalent (desirable).
8. Experience in clinical data entry
9. Good numeracy, spelling, and grammar skills.
10. High standard of interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
11. Proven ability to work independently and be resourceful.
12. Proven ability to work under pressure and to produce work of a high standard.
13. Proven ability to set priorities and achieve agreed work objectives.
14. Demonstrated ability to readily assimilate new information and procedures and react positively in implementing change.
