Pinjarra Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative English teacher to join their collaborative and committed team.
We are seeking a teacher that excels in engaging and motivating students through creating a safe and inclusive learning environment. The successful applicant will show strong professional knowledge and a repertoire of effective instructional practices to engage and motivate students and enrich learning experiences. The ability to differentiate the curriculum to support individual student progress is important, as is the capacity to form strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents/caregivers and the network of external stakeholders and partners who the school. Strong applicants will ideally show their capacity to use a range of data to inform planning and assessments, provide explicit feedback and monitor student performance.
As an English Teacher at Pinjarra SHS, you will join our dedicated team to develop, review and deliver the English curriculum. The successful applicant would have the opportunity to apply their expertise of the English Learning Area across Years 7 to 12, utilising their knowledge and teaching experience to encourage and support all our students to achieve outstanding results.
