Reporting to the Sales Director, we currently have a unique opportunity for a Head of Sales to lead our VIC & SA sales branches in the achievement of sales, budget, profit, and market share targets. The role manages a team of approx. 11 people (direct & indirectly) including sales personnel and branch administration. The key focus for this position is to drive profitable business growth through the achievement of sound business practices and strong customer satisfaction and relationships. We are looking for a results-driven, technically astute, and seasoned sales leader to ensure the successful achievement of the company sales objectives and employee development to support a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities: Drive profitable business growth through effective sales strategies. Manage a team to achieve sales, budget, profit, and market share targets. Ensure high customer satisfaction and foster strong relationships. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 5 years State level leadership experience in a technical sales role, managing direct and indirect sales reports. Minimum 10 years’ experience in pneumatics, mechanical or electrical engineered products desirable with a sound technical aptitude essential. Familiarity with the VIC & SA (or similar) industrial sales and applications market and industries. Proven sales achiever with a strong track record of strategic selling skills and tactical channel sales development skills. Proven track record in coaching and mentoring sales personnel to assist in achieving targets and reaching development and performance goals. Exceptional negotiating and influencing skills and ability to cultivate strong business relationships. Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels. Proven change management capability, along with solid organisational and planning skills. Well-developed IT skills and demonstrated computer literacy essential in MS Office programs & CRM systems. Current working knowledge of EH&S legislation, procedures, and best practice. Hold a valid Driver’s Licence.
