About the role Our Tier 1 mining client is seeking a Civil Construction Supervisor to join their Decarbonisation project team, under the Major projects portfolio Report directly to the Project Superintendent. The role will include ensuring Contractors are supported to deliver projects safely, efficiently; and to high standards that meet our end user's expectations and requirements. Responsibilities Oversee the management of multiple contracting companies and projects on site Review and accept Contractor Inspection and Test sheets Conducting Punch list walk downs Able to review and interpret Project drawings and Liaising with the Superintendents, Site Team, Contractors, and Stakeholders on all relevant matters Lease with Multiple contracting teams for handover and SIMOPS Conducting Field Leaderships Ensure BMS obligations are met Continuous stakeholder relationship building and communications with both internal and external stakeholders. Meet all responsibilities as outlined in the Health, Safety and Environment Policies Participate in any training and safety initiatives implemented by the company Comply with all safety directives, and work instructions; Immediately report any incident or potential hazard to their leader Correctly utilize any Personal Protective Equipment distributed Qualifications and Experience Relative project or construction supervision experience Experience with completions management systems Post 10 years of construction experience At least 5 years as a supervisor in mining Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to foster strong relationships. Ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while balancing operational excellence Experience in High Voltage distribution networks overhead and underground Capable of passing the applicable legislation examination, as prescribed in the work health and safety act 2020 and the work health and safety (Mines) regulations 2022 Strong knowledge of Australian standards, regulations and codes of practice associated with HS&E, construction, inspections.
