As part of the DuluxGroup, a leading marketer and manufacturer of premium branded products, Inspirations Paint employees are part of Australia's largest network of paint stores, serving both retail (DIY) and trade (professional/commercial) markets.The paint industry is a specialised industry. Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects or within the paint or hardware industries is an advantage; however, ongoing training will be provided to equip you with the skills required.This position is available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual seeking an opportunity to develop their career. Working with the management team, you will be responsible for customer retention and growth, client engagement and client satisfaction, while assisting to grow revenue and profitability, maintaining high levels of service and repeat business. You will be relied upon to provide expert knowledge on a diverse range of products provided in store (such as paint, texture and accessories etc) as well as customer relationship management. In return, you will receive a competitive salary, uniform, industry leading training, workplace flexibility and access to our employee assistance programs.Responsibilities include:Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge in the areas of paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandising.Be counted on by your colleagues and customers to identify real problems and deliver effective solutions to customers.Tinting & mixing paint.Following the “Inspirations Way”.Store presentation, stock management, housekeeping.Additional responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.Workplace Health & Safety leadership.Experience / Attributes:Demonstrated exceptional customer service and customer focus.Well presented both in appearance and communication.Able to contribute and work in a team environment, and communicate effectively.Proven sales experience and a strong knowledge of paint and associated products.Approachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaints.Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systems.Honest, reliable and punctual.This role involves heavy lifting up to 25kgs.This position suits an individual who understands the importance of delivering an exceptional customer experience and can build and maintain great customer relationships.
