Cooper Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic/Technician to fill the role of Lead Technician/Foreman. As a full-time member of our skilled automotive services team, you will be responsible for supporting the workshop team in achieving a high standard of repairs and meeting performance targets.

What you'll be doing
* Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose issues with customer vehicles
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake services, and tyre rotations
* Repair and replace faulty parts and components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
* Test repaired vehicles to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely
* Maintain detailed records of all work performed
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
* Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified Automotive Mechanic/Technician
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in the use of automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures
