Join the team that is ensuring one person - one identity.ResponsibilitiesWe need a detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative Information Security Engineer III for our Identity & Security Business Unit. IDEMIA Identity & Security has offices, factories, and enrollment centers spread across the United States.You will support programs such as with the TSA, to ensure compliance with contract security requirements. You will research and investigate the potential impact of new threats and exploits. You will work with peers in the Information Security Team in examining and developing security within IDEMIA software solutions. You will provide advice on vulnerabilities or potential vulnerabilities within the software architecture. You will analyze any security-related data from a wide range of security products and devices. The Information Security Engineer will support security tools and processes for scanning, testing, monitoring, and reporting.In this role, you shall be a key driver in our organization supporting our customers and internal development and deployment teams. You will also be responsible for maintaining our readiness for security compliance audits. You will develop and execute the testing processes utilized to validate the recovery plans and to identify weaknesses and failure points in the plans. You will develop rapport and trust within the business unit, with support services, and with internal customers. You will work with urgency, independence, and thoughtful thinking. Your work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. You may travel to our sites to perform onsite audits, team support, and team training.QualificationsWorking knowledge of technology standards for information security assurance such as ISO 27001 or NIST 800-53 or equivalent.Working experience with risk management, vulnerabilities, and threats.Experience with measuring compliance to policies and procedures.Working experience with tracking metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and trend analysis.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must thrive on collaboration and being part of a team.Must be able to identify source problems and suggest conclusions to resolution.Must have strong analytical capabilities and keen attention to detail.Self-manageable.Administrative and organizational skills.Must understand data collection from systems when needed.Must have skills to collect and organize information for compliance audits.Interpersonal skills include a customer service mentality.Should understand project management, including resource planning, understanding, calculating, and explaining project timelines, monitoring progress, and measuring performance.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, security, software, information technology, or equivalent.You must be a US citizen that is not a citizen of another country.>4 years of experience.
