About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Centre of Excellence- Establishment, The Educational Manager is a key member of the Centre's diverse leadership team. The Centre is a collegiate environment with staff contributing a range of complimentary skillsets to create a high functioning multidisciplinary team. This role contributes to the team by providing strategic oversight and operational management of designated educational programs.
* Lead and mentor a team of subject matter experts, drawing out their expertise and knowledge to drive strategic change and enhance education and training offerings.
* Align education and training with workforce needs, government priorities, and industry trends.
* Communicate confidently and persuasively with stakeholders, ensuring the Centre of Excellence remains a leader in sector-wide transformation.
* Ensure training remains cutting-edge and impactful by championing the practical implementation of educational philosophy, theory and research at the Centre.
* Drive innovation in curriculum development, teaching strategies, and program delivery.
* Ensure program efficacy, overseeing quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement to maintain the highest standards.
About You
You are a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. A connector, collaborator, and mentor, you lead with integrity and bring out the best in others.

* Deeply engaged with education and training - able to convey to internal and external stakeholders how research informs practice and how learning translates into real-world skills.
* A natural connector, able to leverage your strong relationships in the sector to advance the work of the Centre of Excellence.
* Experienced in leading within a multidisciplinary team environment, supporting collaboration and innovation.
* Strategic and outward-looking, able to think nationally and drive systemic change.
The successful candidate must have an Undergraduate Degree in Adult or Vocational Education, and a Diploma in Management (Min AQF5) or a Graduate Certificate in Management. Alternatively, they may hold Undergraduate Degrees in both Adult or Vocational Education and Management, or an Undergraduate Degree and formal Post Graduate qualifications in Adult or Vocational Education and Management.
