About the Role
We are looking for a Part-time Production Supervisor (114 hours per month), to join our Enterprises team.
As a Production Supervisor, you will plan, direct, and coordinate production activities while ensuring supported employees are fully engaged in their work. Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, you will oversee production processes, quality control, work health and safety, equipment maintenance, and customer satisfaction.
This role requires balancing hands-on production responsibilities with providing person-centered support to employees with disabilities, ensuring they have the training, guidance, and resources needed to succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
* Create an inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork, motivation, and productivity.
* Supervise supported employees to ensure engagement in production tasks, quality control, and workflow efficiency.
* Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and skill development tailored to employees’ abilities and goals.
* Maintain accurate records of employee progress, production data, and safety compliance.
* Manage stock levels, production planning, and workflow to meet customer demands and quality standards.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to innovation in production processes.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve meaningful employment. You will be a hands-on, proactive supervisor with a strong commitment to workplace safety, quality control and employee development.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Experience in production, warehousing, handy work, or a related trade / similar role, with the ability to maintain basic machinery.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support and motivate supported employees.
* A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees, colleagues and customers.
* Practical knowledge of WHS regulations, risk assessments, and quality assurance in a production setting.
* Physical capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and using tools safely.
