About the role
TAFE NSW are looking to hire part time casual Assessors. An Assessor is a rewarding and dynamic educational role in the most celebrated education institutions in NSW. The Assessor will carry out independent assessments and grading for students, with a focus to support students in achieving the completion of tasks and identify areas that may require further training. You will work within a team of industry professionals in an engaging environment.
About You
You are a passionate and engaged individual who holds relevant qualifications and experience in Early Childhood and adult education.
You have a customer focused approach, with demonstrated experience in establishing relationships with and providing exceptional customer service to diverse individuals.
You pride yourself on your exceptional communication skills and your ability to facilitate adult learning. Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.
We are looking for passionate and motivated individuals who have the ability to meet the following Essential Requirements:
1. Hold a qualification at Diploma or higher in Early Childhood
2. TAE 40116 Assessor skill set or equivalent.
3. Demonstrated ability to develop and conduct assessments, validations, and moderations in the VET environment.
4. Understanding of the content of learning materials and the processes used in the discipline area and a commitment to maintain professional currency.
5. Commitment and ability to provide feedback in an adult learning environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students.
