The Opportunity - About the Role We are excited to announce a newly created opportunity for a collaborative and driven Finance Manager to join our Financial Control division. In this role, you will drive and manage the delivery of financial accounting services for the Stockland Group, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely financial results in conjunction with both onshore and offshore Finance teams. Key responsibilities will include: Drive and manage the delivery of complete and accurate financial accounting information for the Development division (focusing on Master Planned Communities and Capital Partnerships). Manage close and consolidation activities, including supporting Business Unit month-end processes, transfer journals, accrual journals, and fall over provisions. Prepare and review accurate accounting information and robust balance sheet reconciliations for the Business Unit. Lead a team of professionals, focusing on talent development and performance management to foster a creative and improvement-focused team. Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and other regulatory obligations. Review monthly/half-yearly regulatory requirements for submission to teams such as Tax and Statutory Reporting. Collaborate with Development Finance and FP&A to develop and implement an integrated Financial Accounting strategy. Engage proactively with other Business Units to identify opportunities, manage risks, and understand business performance drivers. About You We are looking for an energetic candidate with strong relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will have: Advanced skills in General Accounting & Compliance and Internal Control & Risk Management. Intermediate skills in Process Excellence, Ownership & Accountability, and Analysis & Reporting. Basic skills in Finance System Management and Financial & Commercial Analysis. Extensive experience in business operations service management. Experience managing a team and developing an organization. Appropriate tertiary qualification(s) and CA/CPA accreditation.
